Community Engagement and Social Action Programme
Students of The Millennium Education One World Campus MYP cohort visited underprivileged schools at the outskirts of Islamabad, in collaboration with Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education (PAGE) to cherish some moments with deserving students.
The MYP cohort decorated goodie bags, brought edible items like chocolates, snacks, biscuits, candies, stationery items to bring smiles and create some memorable time for all. Students also interacted and socialized with kids and arranged tug of war for gender equity symbolism. Girls outnumbered the boys and won 3 match series of tug of war. An eye-opening, compassionate time spent with students gave them an understanding that life has multiple perspectives and we should be caring and empathetic in the general approach to life with a thanksgiving attitude. A day well spent where students learned how important it is to bring service in action and take initiatives for societal uplift and communal benefit.
