The Curious Friendship Between The Sun And The Cloud

The Curious Friendship Between The Sun And The Cloud

Ever wondered what has not changed since the very beginning of the world? The sun and the clouds. Centuries have passed, many people have come and gone, many revolutions have taken place, and the entire world is forever changing but what is not changing: the sun and the clouds. They have always been here with us, since times immemorial. Their job is never-ending. Everyday in the morning, the sun rises promptly, and the clouds follow lazily – wandering in the sky, but never too far from the Sun. Everything changes but their routine. They have always been an especially important and beautiful part of nature. Imagine the sky as a canvas and a bright yellow Sun in there and the puffy cotton clouds hugging the Sun: all these bright colors just blend in together. They are a part of every scenery: mountains, sea, sky, forests, wildlife. (The way the blazing, hot sun and the cool white clouds feel is authentic, the way they smell is nature, the way they sound is quiet but lovely, the way they are filled with love tastes delicious and they look extremely realistic and sweet.) Have you ever just looked up at the sky and realized how grateful you are for life and the luxuries you have? This is their magic; they fill you with wonder and plant positivity inside of you. The sun and clouds experience every magical moment together and they know all the secrets because they can see everyone from the height of the sky. The sun and the clouds have witnessed the moments of love and affection: they have experienced the happiness of people when they get paid for their challenging work, they have watched lovingly as a child chases after an ice-cream truck on a hot day, they have watched the farmer pause and wipe the sweat as a cool breeze kisses his brow. Moreover, they have also experienced tragic and heart-breaking moments: breakdowns, disease, death, heart-break. Together, they create the perfect weather – neither too hot, nor too cold – just right, like Goldilock’s porridge. On a day when it’s both sunny and cloudy, people usually have a happy mood and positive vibe. When the clouds cry, the Sun shines proudly and helps the clouds to recover and when the Sun is angry the clouds help to control its anger and the result is an enviable balance. (The clouds are as sweet as cotton candy and the sun is hot lava but loving like a mother. This how beautifully mother nature has done wonders.) One day the Sun and the Clouds had a huge fight. The Sun shone alone in the sky; people hated it as they felt hot and humid. They gathered hatred for the Sun. They loathed the Sun. And they even wished it would vanish forever, it was heartbreaking. But what made it even worse was that the Sun did not know how to control its emotions so when we hurled insults at it the Sun became extremely angry and shone with more hatred – broken-hearted. It was a terrible day for the Sun. The following day, the clouds rose in the sky, and the people did not admire them. People called out: the sky is grey and dull today, the clouds are so boring! These evil words broke the heart of clouds and they burst into tears. People turned even more inconsiderate and complained, they said far more terrible things; why is it raining or why is the sky not clear and sunny? That day the Sun and the clouds realized they were nothing without each other. The bond of the Sun and clouds is all about positivity and they never give up on each other. They have each other’s back and as good friends they always help one another. They both cover for each other without hesitation. When the clouds feel blue, and weep, the Sun conjures up a rainbow to cheer up the clouds. When the Sun throws a tantrum and heats up like red hot lava, the clouds rush towards it, and float around, trying to cheer it up. Humans should seek inspiration from this beautiful bond of the Sun and the clouds, a friendship that has stood the test of time, and will probably continue until the very end of Time.
