Entrepreneurship At Its Best: ‘Food Street for Charity’ At One World!
The month of April saw our altruistic IB MYP millennials eagerly working together to organize a ‘Food Street for Charity’ on campus under the banner of Creativity Activity Service (CAS). The ‘Food Street’ was an immense success as the students working as young entrepreneurs raised a whopping 25,000 Rupees in just under two hours!
The ‘Food Street’ composed of 10 mini-restaurants each represented by a group of students marketing and selling an eclectic range of homemade cuisines such as Italian, Pakistani, American, Arabic, Chinese as well as mouth-watering desserts and beverages alongside a face-painting station for kids. The event attracted a huge number of visitors from over the campus including dignitaries from the Head Office.
The funds generated through the event were then used to provide amenities such as clothes and groceries to the underprivileged members of the stuff on campus in spirit of Ramadan and in true honor of the values it evokes in us.
