The Islamic Republic of Pakistan, oh what a beautiful place,

It sure has been a long time since we saw your face,

March was long and April felt like forever,

Even May was not that clever,

But July came and things got better,

Hand washing was always a thing,

It’s just encouraged more, add a song to sing,

Two meters apart, we need to stay,

Hoping the curve would stay as it is, we all pray,

But in all seriousness take care of each other,

Even from a distance, we’re in this together,

Do your part by wearing a mask,

And don’t forget – in the sunshine you may bask,

Times are uncertain, but one thing is for sure,

Pakistan is strong, and we will endure
